The seafood at that spot was delicious, especially the alligator bites and lobster roll. The service was great, and even though we had to wait a bit for our food, it was definitely worth it for the fresh, tasty dishes.

Love the setting, of course... Choose whether to sit inside, or at picnic tables on a lovely green knoll, or on the stone patio with New Orleans-style tables complete with New Orleans street lamp. The menu is expansive. I had the haddock sandwich: Lots of haddock, crispy outside and moist inside, perfect (= done right)! Best of all: The kitchen is "open," visible to the public, as they prepare your food. That day there were nine staff in a relatively small space, working rapidly but perfectly synchronized.
Two were working the windows (window service) and there was one dishwasher, and all others were getting the food out. Impressive. PS - No, I'm not related to any of these folks :-) I just appreciate good food in a relaxed atmosphere. Jeanne
