Frequently staying in the Barre area for Norwich hockey games, we booked a last-minute room at the Hollow and were pleasantly surprised by the easy check-in, clean and functional room with a dated but acceptable decor, comfortable beds, well-equipped amenities including a mini fridge, coffeemaker, microwave, and a separate counter with a sink and two-burner cooktop, along with provided toiletries, a small back patio, and a satisfying continental breakfast during our recent stay for a hiking trip, finding room 501 in the main building to be spacious and well-appointed with a king bed, full kitchen, and clean linens, making it a great and affordable choice for those seeking a simple and comfortable accommodation near Norwich University with convenient dining options nearby.
