The Ginger fried beef tasted great but the meat was VERY grisly
They need to trim this meat
You have to spit out half of the dish, shameful

I have been eating here with my family for over 25 yrs, never had a bar experience and the food has always been high quality and delicious!! The prices haven't changed much, it's so affordable! If I lived closer I would eat the more often. I highly recommend HoTong's to anyone who craves delicious authentic Chinese food, it is the best place on the Island

The food isn't bad but this has happened to me twice. I went to eat there for lunch and dinner and they seated us at a table for 10 and there were 6 of us, we ordered a bunch of food. A larger table came in and we were asked to move to a smaller table. I said we ordered so much food that there was no way it would fit on the smaller table. They told me that this table is meant for a larger group of people then we have sitted. I said well why didn't you sit us at the smaller table when we got in? I said the food is here so you have 2 options, we stay here and eat or we leave and not pay. They let is stay but this has happened to me twice. Bad service, all they care is the $$$

Ordered the peking duck and noodle soup. Both were fine. Service was good but a little slow.

The worst take out I have unfortunately had in recent memory. Very little taste, no appreciable spices,... very bland. Oh.... also greasey....

I got combo A for takeout last week and it was great value. It tasted delicious and there was plenty of it for the cost. It is possible that the previous review about "rude service" is accurate, but I didn't experience any rudeness as I only dealt with the cashier. In my opinion, I am more concerned as to the quality of the food than the service, but more often than not I prefer takeout then eating in. My advice, get takeout from this restaurant.

we went there today around 2pm and take a seat in the middle table, it was uncomfortable for us so I ask the server if its ok to transfer to the corner table . he was like "oh my god! Im soo busy u know!!". my husband decided to leave the restaurant because of the way he treated me and as i was walking out I told him that he was so rude and because of his rudeness we lost our appetite. such a bad behavior for a server! very very rude server!!
