Very disappointing customer service! We went to this restaurant looking forward to a nice meal with a lovely view of sunset but we were not greeted in a pleasant or respectful manner. We decided to leave and order carry out from another restaurant!

Not a lot of places open on Christmas Eve in Chincoteague island . But thankfully The Ropewalk was . The crabmeat sandwich I got was absolutely delicious. No filler, just a lot of sweet crab and plenty of it . The waffle fries it came ( for a little extra ) were perfect for it . Not greasy and really tasty . My wife got the swordfish which was just slightly dry but still quite good . The service people who were kind enough to work on a Christmas Eve were very pleasant . The desserts looked awesome but we were just too full . A great experience.

Night out last Saturday 2/16/19. Husband and I shared two entrees, filet mignon, crab stuffed flounder. We are still talking about how mouthwatering it was - absolutely delicious. Excellent DJ too - got us up and dancing!

Stop by for a few drinks and appetizers with sister and brother-in-law and wife great selection of beers and appetizers very well-prepared Sam the bartender very pleasant and knowledgeable and very helpful great experience Beautiful view
