Lovely setting with blond woods, soaring ceiling , and leafy views through the huge window. First-rate food, great service. Very clean and obviously well-run.
Excellent burger beautifully presented. We ordered the cheddar bacon burger and the shrimp & cheese grits. The latter is worthy of New Orleans, where I lived for years in the French Quarter and regularly ate in the city's finest restaurants. Surprisingly fresh-tasting. If you like Cajun, absolutely order the shrimp & cheese grits.
Beyond sandwiches, wraps and burgers, the entree menu appears to be a beautifully -rendered, eclectic mix of the chef's personal favorites. A little Cajun, a Chinese dish, a Japanese dish, vegan choices, and pasta. I'm told the specials are also excellent, tho we ordered off of the regular menu. It's all really delicious, so I' not complaining. Their sauces are made from scratch. The extensive dessert menu (presumably all shipped in from outside Floyd) looked appealing too. Seriously fresh. Yum....
Whether you are just traveling through or live here like me, you definitely need to check out the Blue Ridge Grille. This was my first visit. I will be back!
