The Backyard Brews & Bites is a trendy beer garden located in South Hill, Va. They have a dozen VA & NC Beers and Ciders on tap at all times, as well as other local beverages. The backyard gives off a cool vibe and is totally family friendly, with live music most weekends, games and lots of things for the kids to enjoy. Seating is both outdoors and indoors with a delicious menu of what are now known as famous hot dogs and lots of other goodness!

Best hidden gem

After a hiatus of several months, we are delighted to have the opportunity for a truly heartfelt review of The Backyard Brews & Bites. Our travels have taken us from coast-to-coast, and this restaurant is at the top of our list for the best in casual dining. Every aspect is well-thought-out, from the simple yet delightful indoor/outdoor dining areas to the counter and wall menus, superb choices of beer, and beyond.
