I always enjoy dining at Jade Chinese Restaurant, and my recent visit was particularly satisfying with the fresh and crisp vegetables in the Beef and Mixed Vegetable dish. While the owner's habit of taking the prime parking spot directly in front of the restaurant puzzles me, the staff has always been kind and accommodating, allowing us to dine in despite only taking pick-up and delivery orders.

Something is very wrong here. Previous visits were always right in line with expectations and the food tasted fresh and delicious. My last two visits (takeout) were just the opposite. Fried rice was truly bland. The Loh Mein tasted like noodles and nothing else plus the beef was tough. The General Tso chicken was doused in a sickeningly sweet sauce with absolutely no spicy zing to it. Since their reopening with takeout only, they've wandered far off course. I had hoped this visit (3/26/22) would be different, but unfortunately it wasn't. I'm done.

Been ordering there for years best Chinese in the area none better order is always correct and Sammy the owner does a great job and has a great staff. We loved eating in but pandemic changed it to delivery or carry out but still great service.

Food is real good and prices are good. I love the shrimp egg rolls and order a lot of them.

Been eating here for years and never a problem. Delivery times can be long but that's because they are super busy which is a good thing. Order is always correct and food hot and fresh. Staff is always really nice. Definitely best Chinese food in the area!

I oredered from here and the delivery guy was so nasty. He literally took my money and ran. My food was 22.00. I gave him 25 and only ask for 1 dollar back. He told me he dont have change that I should have told them on the phone I needed change. Which I never have to do that any other place I order from. I had to threating them to calling the police if he didnt bring my change back. Food was not good at all. Never order there again. Very rude people.

I have been ordering from Jade for the past few years and I have yet to have a wrong order or anything unpalatable! I used to order from a closer chinese restaurant, but I gladly drive the extra 10 minutes to eat at Jade. I highly recommend their chow mein - not greasy in the slightest, which was always a concern of my husband's. I also love their General Tso's chicken & shrimp; the shrimp are huge and never have been over-cooked, and the chicken is juicy and tender.
When I move out of town, I am hoping I can find somewhere just as good in the country!

FANTASTIC PLACE FOR LUNCH!!! Best Lo-Mein in the Richmond area, and prices are reasonable. Favorite lunch spot!

Seriously the best Chinese food ive had since moving to Virginia. The girls at the front desk were very nice and the service was efficient. My waitress was personable and the food was delicious as well as affordable. I'll definitely be coming back for more spring rolls and General Tso's chicken!!

Went to lunch there and rice was wrong I was given white rice and asked for fried rice. Brought to the attention of the waiter and he said he would take it to the back and exchange it out. I said no you can just bring it to me in a container. So they brought me the correct rice and an empty plate. I asked the waiter if they recycle the rice and was told "YES WE RECYCLE RICE JUST LIKE WE DO THE CATS AND DOGS WE RECYCLE." So I asked for the manager and asked for my money back and told the manager about the comment that the waiter said and the manager did not have a problem at all with the comment that the waiter made to me. So I got my money back and left. I plan not to go back to this place ever again.
