If there are two things I like, it's Mexican shrimp cocktail and Cadillac margarita. I've traveled coast to coast east-west and Alaska to Texas. For 25 years the best I had found was in Anchorage, Alaska UNTIL a month ago. That's when I discovered tres agaves (listed here as El Agave).

This place is consistently good. I hereby declare them the new #1 placeholder for Cadillac Margarita and Mexican Shrimp Cocktail. The Cadillac is just right blend of flavors. The shrimp cocktail chock full of succulent tail off large shrimp, finely chopped pica de Gallo and chunks of rich, ripe avocado. The tomato base is savory without the overly sweet taste of ketchup so many others put in trying to up the flavor game. It's perfection done right.

I also recommend their carne asada tacos. Mexican street tacos done right.

They offer a righteous chicken tamale, but to me a tamale is pork cooked over a two day period.

The food here is authentic as if you had traveled deep into non tourists territory of Mexico. They have indoor and outdoor seating options.
