I was attending an outdoor singing performance a couple of years ago with a very talented singer (neighbor), Emily Cooley, accompanied by Ron Ireland on guitar. I ordered some appetizers and they were great, the service was good. Beautiful atmosphere.......gorgeous hotel. I think it's a great asset to our community............I hope others are not totally turned away by some negative reviews.

Food not prepared correctly, meat loaf hard, thick, could not eat. Pasta over cooked, clumped together, blacked salmon, just black, not cooked. Lettuce wilted, edges brown, prepared a week ahead of serving. Cold, breezy. Said nothing could be done. Two songs playing same time over intercom, "you oughta have to work here" when patrons at other three tables and we complained! Bread stale, asked for more, brought more butter! Annoyed by gnats whole meal, other patrons killing them on the wall. Rated 'best dining in Wytheville', afraid to try second best place to dine there. Underwhelmed, over priced, subpar service, bad food. R Edwards
