I used to steer clear of Lucky Star, but now I can't resist grabbing takeout whenever I have the chance. The buffet may not be the most exciting, but as a local, I appreciate the good service and decent food for the price. Tuesdays are the best bet for a wallet-friendly feast, just be prepared for a brief wait as the locals flock in for the fresh offerings. The family-run charm and tasty dishes, like the spring rolls and spicy Szechuan options, keep me coming back for more every time I'm in Pearisburg.
