You've got to try New York Pizza for delicious city-style pizzas with the perfect crust, sauce, and topping ratios. The NY style cheesecake with a light, crumbly crust is also a must-try - it's one of my favorite pizzerias in this part of VA!

Just don't order a tuna salad -- (I was expecting Albacore, but it was the $.79 a can tuna) Too pricey for a plain iceberg lettuce salad
04/09/2015 - Is Great Customer Service Dead?
I used to enjoy eating food here. The customer service recently has declined. When you call on the phone the order is rushed and they barely say hello. I also had a bad experience today. I ordered my food and placed an order for my brother in law and as usual was rushed off of the phone. Since I am used to this I then drove to pick up my food and didn't think anything of it. We went in and picked up our food and the order came to $30.12. I gave the cashier two $20.00 's and $0.12 cents and she snatched the two twenties right out of. my hand, but I could see that they were busy and she was trying to hurry up with all the customers. So again I let it go. Keep in mind I was rushed off the phone and then money is snatched out of my hand. I just sighed and got ready to receive my sub. After a long day at work I was more than ready to devour my food, kick up my fee,t and drink a beer. However there was yet another issue, the cashier closed the register and didn't give me back my change. When I asked her for my change she stated that I only gave her $30.00 instead of the $40.00. I had enough! I told her to please give me back my $10.00. She then called her manager. They then spoke to each other in another language without cluing me on what was said. Then they both stopped and the manager walks off and the cashier tells me they are going to count the money. The manager comes back after counting saying that the money added up. In my opinion it wasn't enough time to count the money and I felt cheated with the whole ordeal. I then just tell them I do not want the food. The manager then snatches the food off the counter so fast and proceeds to throw the food in the garbage. I had to yell that the food she snatched wasn't even mine. They didn't even apologize to the man whose food they almost threw away. I will never order food from here or eat here again. They lost a really loyal customer. I have been eating here for the last five years. What happened to the customer is always right or a compromise of half off. Why would I argue over $10.00 if I didn't think I was right or know what I gave. There are no cameras in this store to view. I am very unhappy and frustrated with the rudeness of the situation and how management handled this.

I am from New York and often miss the food, however, I have a little slice of home everytime I go here. Best Pizza in town, hands down!!
