There seems to be some confusion - this review is specifically about Willaby's catering services, not the restaurant itself. I've attended numerous events and weddings catered by Willaby's, and the food has always been fresh and appealing. The owner and staff are friendly and accommodating, creating a pleasant experience overall. If you're considering catering for a special occasion, I would definitely suggest giving Willaby's a try for a delicious and stress-free event.

Every year we have a Deaf Rivah party and Willaby's caters it. The food is consistently delicious and we've been doing this for 17 years! They are the friendliest and most helpful people out there. If you have an event and you want somebody thats going to care about you and your guest I highly suggest using them!!
04/17/2014 - BEST CAFE AND CATERING IN THE NORTHERN NECK
This restaurant is in the coolest building--made to look like a steamboat with view of the Rappahannock and church pews as seating. The food is excellent and the lemonade is to die for and teh service attentive and friendly.
We had Willaby's cater both the BBQ/Oyster Roast on Saturday and then brunch the next morning. The food was delicious and the service superb. I was able to enjoy my own party as they took care of EVERYTHING. Everyone had a fantastic time and Willaby's catering made the whole event a breeze. The wild caught local oysters were roasted perfectly on site. The BBQ pork and grilled chicken were absolutely wonderful. All of it was excellent.
For brunch, the french toast was A-MAZING! We thought we might have a lot of leftovers, but we fed our house guests BBQ & chicken Sunday evening and Monday morning finished off the French toast. They even left us the coffee from the brunch and it was excellent--even two days later. Their coffee is organic and fair trade, too.
Great food, service, and environmentally responsible. Thank you William and Patty for making our party such a raging success!!
