Woodruff's has been around for over 60 years. Starting as a grocery store owned and operated by my father and mother James Woodruff, Sr.and Mary Fannie, it is now the home of my signature "Angie's Famous Apple Pie"! Yum!

The pies at this cozy cafe are absolutely divine, with a rich selection of flavors that will leave you craving for more. The homemade pies, available by the slice or whole, are a true treat for your taste buds. The sandwiches are also a must-try, complementing the delicious pies perfectly.

This was my first time here. Having seen this place highlighted on some PBS travel show - giving it high ratings, I had to stop.
I AM SO GLAD I DID!!
You haven't tasted pie, until you've tasted this. Small shop, family owned and ran, and the ladies inside were as sweet as the pies!
The pies themselves didn't have a weighed-down sugary taste! They get their berries from local farms, and bake them that day. You can tell the difference. The taste of fresh fruit, rather than old fruit sugared down - oh, the difference, I had NO idea! Don't forget to try the milkshakes.. I had peach - yum!!
Plus, there's a lot of history to this little shop. The ladies took us around, and showed us all the awesome times and events this place has lived through. Meeting the 104 year old lady who started it all was a pleasant treat!!
HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Excellent food and atmosphere reminds me of being in my grandma's kitchen. Mrs Woodruff so warm and friendly. A great place for lunch in the country
