The food and service were excellent, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The breakfast was on point, with large, delicious pancakes and attentive service.

It was the attack of the gnats or small flies. I do not know which ones. I could not enjoy my food because the diner had swarms of gnats trying to land on my food. I spent more time trying to keep them off of my food than eating. I am not kidding!!! They need to address this problem...like yesterday.

Enjoyed lunch today, with husband and mother-in-law, to celebrate my husband's mother's birthday. We ordered the fried chicken dinners and a fried rock fish dinner. The food was excellent. All was fully cooked and served hot. The breading on the fried items was tasty, not too salty nor too spicy, and the breading was tender. Just love the fried okra side dish and the excellent, hot, fresh, dinner rolls. And we were served generous portions. This was my fifth visit and I have been pleasantly satisfied with each meal. Am very happy that we may enjoy this dinner so close to home.

Since finding this place about a year ago, me and the wife usually frequent it twice a month. The portions are HUGE and the service is outstanding. We hang their calendar on the fridge so we can see what the special of the day is. If you can make it on the day when they have the crabcake dinner, definitely don't miss. Two large crabcakes with no filler and seasoned to perfection with sides, bread. Totally to die for.

Wonderful food and staff....we go there almost daily for lunch from work !!! The fried chicken sandwich special on 5/19 was especially great. That should become a permanent menu item. Amazing !

I have been here several times and have had great friendly service and delicious food. Very reasonable and they have really good nightly dinner specials.

Don't go if they are busy in the mornings. You will see your waitress two times, once to get your order and another time to bring your check. If you want decent service, you'll have to sit at the counter. If you want to sit at the counter, I hope you want to watch the wait staff complain about each other and shovel food into their mouths. My waitress thought she was a comedian as she chatted it up, pointed to my cup and asked another waitress to bring me more coffee. If you can scramble an egg and follow bisquick directions, stay in for breakfast.
