After a few years away, our visit to La Push has been enjoyable, especially our meal at River's Edge. The new chef and menu exceeded our expectations, with delicious dishes like salmon dip and seafood chowder, and the friendly staff and beautiful views made the experience even better.

Are we at the circus? This used to be a great place to eat. There is no organization, the boy that seats people had to be yelled at to come in and seat us. It took him over 5 minutes to wipe down one table, while people were lined out the door. He had to count and recount the water glasses before filling. He is still trying to figure it out. The waitresses are not much better. The gentleman next to us asked her if the seafood was fresh and local. She couldn't answer that question, then she decided to say yes"¦..most of it. Which isn't true. They delivered our food and we had to call her back and say none of it was ours. Then she walked around asking who it belonged to. Ended up taking it back to kitchen. People are lined out the door, tables are getting cleaned at a snails pace. Very entertaining at least.
