The service here is always on point, with friendly staff ready to help out at any table. I ordered the chicken pot pie and it was delicious, with a flaky top and a filling packed with veggies. The atmosphere is lively, making it a fun spot to unwind with great food and a solid beer selection.

The service at Union Tavern was outstanding, with a friendly and efficient staff that made our visit enjoyable. The food was good, particularly the spinach artichoke dip and the chicken pot pie, although some dishes could use a bit more seasoning. Overall, the atmosphere and service made it a great spot to stop by for a drink and a bite to eat.

Normally one of our favorite dining destinations in Anacortes. This time started normally, but once waitress took our drink order, she disappeared in plain view. After 20 min, she came by and tersely took our order, but failed to put my order in. Different waiter brought my gfs order, but no mention of mine. Another 15 min go by and I flag down waiter to inquire about my order. He goes and chats with waitress and she didnt put my order in and proceeds to glare at us. Waiter brought my order after another 15. While both dishes were good, service and attitude was horrendous. The blonde gentlemen was contrite and apologetic and reduced my order chsrge by 50? Which was appreciated. Tipped him, but will turnaround and leave if brunette with bushy curly hair approaches out table. Sad. As prior encounters were stellar and food good. Would have enjoyed second beer, but figured to cut losses...
