When asked, "What did you do on your long holiday weekend?" My thoughts... waiting for Burger King! I went through the drive-thru to just order two simple burgers and wasted a whole lot of time. First of all, their advertised "2 for $6 Mix-and-Match" deal was false advertisement. They show a Whopper as part of the deal but when attempting to order it they said that it was no longer part of the deal. It also advertised the Chicken Fries as coming with this deal but I was skeptical of receiving this for free so I asked the person on drive-thru if it came with the 2 burgers that I requested and they told me that it did. They said my $6 deal was a total of $10 and so I knew that something was wrong and I was going to fix this error when I was paying for it. This took about 10 minutes just to get there and I confirmed my order. I was then told that the Chicken Fries that was supposedly free was an extra cost and so I cancelled it so that I would get the two burgers I originally wanted. I waited for a few minutes before I was told to park around the corner because my food was not ready yet. I then waited for 15 minutes with the feeling that they had just completely forgotten about me. At this point, I had a headache because I had waited so long for this food. My wife and I observed all the cars that were behind us driving off happily with their food while we still waited. So I went inside and inquired about my food. The person on the drive-thru that was dealing with us didn't even acknowledge us and I told them that we were waiting so long for our food and had told them what was ordered. They seemed to have had no idea about our order. We were waiting for our food for about 45 minutes altogether and would have been more if I had not gone in and said something. I know this is a "fast food" restaurant but it should not take longer than a sit down restaurant.
