The bakery offers a satisfactory selection of items, with everything we tried being good without being outstanding. The drinks were also enjoyable, and the overall atmosphere was warm and friendly with a nice variety of treats to choose from.

My wife and have been living in Monroe for 17 years. We were both so excited when Sky River bakery opened up. Monroe finally had a custom bakery and we have been loyal patrons ever since it opened.

On 7/30 my wife and I went to Sky River bakery thinking it was open. When we got there we noticed that the door was open but before we could go inside we were rudely told by the owner that they were closed. My wife responde back stating that we didn't want to purchase anything, but just had a question regarding a speciality cake. The
owner continued his rude behavior by
ranting on how it was 90 degrees in the kitchen and brushed us off by telling us that we needed to back in the morning.

Unfortunately, we will not be returning in the morning nor we will be coming back ever again.

I am writing this to let everyone know that they might have great bakery goods, but that only goes so far when your rude to customers. Especially, for those of us that stuck by with the owner and the business during COVID.

The owner has since responded back in another post but still hasn't taken ownership for his rude
behavior. I too understand that the safety of your employees is important. I never in anyway implied that money is more important than the safety of others. However, he seems to think that excuses him from behaving the way he did.
