Always great!

This used to be a great place to eat. Our last three take out orders were almost inedible. Also price was almost $20. more than online menu price. Next time we will make the trip to Longview.

I'm very sad because I've decided to no longer go to our local Chinese restaurant Lucky Dragon. I used to love their food but there's been a change in the last few months maybe in cook's or recipes because last time I ordered their Singapore noodles it was so flavorless I had to mix up my own curry after getting it home & the noodles were so overdone they fell apart. Tonight I ordered a meal that came with pork chow mien(which is all it said on the online menu) but when we got home I had actually recieved subgum bean sprout which was watery soggy flavorless slop. I also ordered the snowpea beef & instead what I got was carrots, onion, pepper, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, & mushrooms with a small amount of snowpea's in the beef which I'm sorry is a cheap way of padding the ingredients to save cost on snowpea's. I called & specifically asked is it supposed to be just snowpea's & beef, just like green bean beef & broccoli beef & was told to come get another order so I drove back & was presented with the same exact thing. Despite me saying over & over that it was supposed to be just snowpea's & beef she just kept pointing to the order slip like they'd done exactly what I asked. I finally said really slowly just snowpea's just beef just like everyone else in the area makes it or at most they put 1 extra ingredient in. She just said everywhere is different so I asked what the difference between what I ordered & beef with mixed vegetables & was told what I ordered didn't have broccoli, that's it, so I just paid $15 to get less ingredients. I had brought the other order back which she sent with me which I guess was nice but they would have just thrown it out so sending it w saved them a step. The other issue is price, the prices everywhere have increased I know but what they're charging now is just crazy especially since there's been an obvious change in cooks & recipes. Unfortunately I've heard several people complain recently about very similar issues & we're a very tiny area so if businesses don't flourish they go under. They've now lost my entire families business which is a lot of people.

Well, against what seems to be a very good rating, I must throw my two-cents worth in. I was not impressed with either the food, nor the extremely rude service. We were ignored after being seated. Even my 12 year old granddaughter commented that we should have gotten take-out....they were served faster. Her orange chicken was dry and flavorless...almost bitter. My #5 was almost inedible. The fried shrimp looked good, but the one shrimp encased in the batter was of the shrimp salad variety.....small. The rice wasn't bad, but on the whole, I would consider the dinner a complete flop. On the bright side....both girls liked the grilled cheese sandwich, which the 6-year old ordered. I only tried the restaurant as I was told it was really good. Oh, well.....

The food is excellent, the quantity is incredible, and the prices are very reasonable!
