Blue Bay restaurant is a fantastic spot for breakfast or lunch with a wide variety of classic dishes and excellent service. Despite the outdated decor, the food is consistently good, and the staff goes above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience.

First and last time at the restaurant tonight. My husband ordered Walleye Pike and the waitress brought catfish. My dinner was fish fry (cod). After the waitress served the meal, it was brought to her attention that the Walleye fish was catfish. She went back to the kitchen and when she returned to our table, she reported that she gave my husband the wrong fish. She told my husband it would be about 8 more minutes for the Walleye to be completed and said to me:" You can go ahead and eat your fish and you do not have to wait for the Walleye for your husband." I told her to take my plate and would eat with my husband. The food came back in about 8 minutes. My husband ordered a side of red potatoes and he received French fries. She went to get the red potatoes. The fish fry (cod) was awful. The fish was dry and hard. The French fries were cold. The Walleye Pike was dry and overcooked. We also received 2 sides of corn when the original meal came out and then returned to the kitchen. The waitress never took the corn when she took our meals back. When the new meals were brought to the table, she brought 2 new sides of corn. The experience was awful, the food was awful and the waitress was awful. NEVER will go back.
