I remember when we tried to change a reservation for a Saturday party of 5, and ended up at BLT last minute. The steaks were excellent, with the tomahawk being good but pricey, and the fillet mignon standing out. The service from Devan was amazing, making the evening truly enjoyable.

My fiancé and I went there for dinner on 8/9/14. We made reservations thru Opentable for 8:00 PM and we arrived at 7:30 PM and we were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. We thought that we would have to wait, that was not the case. Our dinner experience was off to a great start. Then it began. We were seated and we were given our menus and water. Our waiter did not return for maybe 10-15 min for our drink order. We ordered our drinks & that took another 10-15 min. It appeared our waiter may have been overwhelmed or they may have been understaffed. Looking around the place, it was not full. Now it was time to order. It was our first time there & were unfamiliar with the menu. We had to choose either from the regular menu or the "cutting board pre fix". We had some questions. Once the waiter decided that maybe he should check with us, we asked, he poorly rushed thru our questions. At the same time we inquired about these large bread looking things that we saw and were told they were hot poppers and we would get some with our meal shortly. They served us poppers that were cold. Yes you know it, they were sitting around and he realized we had not received them. They had to put them back in oven for us. Ok enough with that, let's talk about dinner.... OR WHAT WAS CLASSIFIED AS DINNER. We ordered bone in rib eye cut table side from the "cutting board pre fix." Since our waiter was overwhelmed, the manager served us our dinner. He began to cut the meat in front of us and it was plain as day that this cut was full of fat (40%+) not cooked to the correct temperature and the toughest meat I have ever had. We informed the manager that it was not cooked properly & all he offered us was to cook it more. I was besides myself and asked for the check, which by the way arrived in less then 30 seconds. When I looked at it I was horrified, remember the pre fix for $60 per person, we'll there was an additional $18 per person surcharge for that rib eye in addition to the pre fix. The waiter informed us that our meal was $50 pp plus $18 pp, not $60 pp plus $18 pp. At this point enough was enough, we had eaten less than 1/2 the steak, refused to take it home (don't have a dog) and if we did it may have been to tough for him. ALL I WANTED TO DO WAS LEAVE.
That we did, not before paying the bill in full and tip with a note at the bottom that I asked the waiter to give to management and the chef. He read it and just walked away. The note read as the title of this review does "THE WORST MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD"

P.S. The slap in the face was the $10 valet fee upon leaving.
