HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! La Renaissance Bakery I asked these people to make a custom cake for my daughter's Sweet 16. I showed them a picture of the inspiration cake and the owner agreed to make it for $509.76. I decided to do this for my daughter because she deserves it and she really loved this cake. What I got for $500+ was horrific and the owner told me I was making a fuss over a cake! She also told me "hurt people, hurt people" which is why I was being so mean to her about a cake. I informed her I was being honest about the poor craftsmanship of the cake because when someone spends $500 on a cake, they expect it to be stunning! Instead I got garbage! One of our guests thought the fondant elephant was feces on the cake and asked why we did that! To top it off, the cake was so dry and crumbly, we could not serve it! I asked for a refund and the woman refused to acknowledge there was anything wrong with the cake she provided. I am attaching images so you all can make an informed decision before purchasing from this establishment!

All their pastries are wonderful! 👍The fresh fruit tart has been a family holiday favorite for many years!! Their baguettes and raspberry filled palmiers are so delicious! Expect to add a pound or two just from walking into the store❣❣
