Prices are TOTALLY out of line for the atmosphere:
Drinks were served in plastic cups.
Eating utensils consisted of plastic fork and knife.
Food was served on paper plates.
Ceiling speakers and heating diffusers were hanging part way from the ceilings.
Wiring for receptacles were coming through a hole in the wall at the table we were sitting.
Booths were duct taped because they were worn out.
As for the food:
Generous portions indeed, with our order of deep fried "brick hard crust" haddock.
As for cleanliness:
There was only one table with a customer at the time we were there, 3PM. None of the
other tables were clean, nor has the debri on the floor been removed.
Our table looked the cleanest when we arrived, yet it too seemed to not have been uncleaned.
( Salt all over the table )
We have eaten here on many occasions in the past and i was appauled and sad that it has changed
to the disgusting place it has become.

I went to a wedding that Hummingbird cafe catered. Such good food. I definitely plan to visit.

Have never been disappointed. Food is very good. Friendly, clean place to eat.

The waitress basically called my husband a liar when she did not bring the bacon he ordered telling him he did not order it which I heard him do.He ask her for the bacon he ordered she replied you did not order any and he said yes I did and the waitress again replied no you did not. I called to speak to the owner and she hung up so she thought and I heard in the background them laughing thinking it was funny that they hung up on him. So I called back and found it was the owner Kim finding the situation to be amusing. I explained to her that the waitress flat out told my husband he did not order the bacon and was arguing with him. It was clearly scratched out on the bill. The owner said that it is her daughter that waited on us and it was her( the owner) fault because she forgot to put the bacon on the plate so I am pretty sure this behavior is acceptable for a waitress to call a customer a liar at this establishment. If it was an error then why was my husband called a liar? Would't I'm sorry I will go get the bacon been appropriate. I am a local person being treated like this, how do they treat other customers. Plus they are very over priced for the quality and quantity of food. Never again!
