Hickory House is a cozy restaurant known for its slow-cooked meats over hickory wood. They offer a variety of dishes including baby-back ribs, pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken, salads, side dishes, and desserts at reasonable prices. My husband and I enjoyed a delightful dinner during our vacation in West Virginia, considering it one of the top eateries in the area.

The food was average and the service was horrible definitely will not be returning.

I say this food and the service is just average at best. I am a barbecue lover and recently took my wife and 3 children there for supper. The kids would have the harshest reviews while my wife enjoyed the brisket burger. The building is a cute place while the staff lacks in experience. Best barbecue in W.V.? Not even in the top ten but if your in the area drive on over to Glenville and judge for yourself.
