During our vacation in Fayetteville, we discovered the Glen Ferris Inn, where we enjoyed a delicious meal accompanied by a stunning view of the Gauley River. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable despite a slight wait for our food.

Great Food, Great Service!

05/15/2023 - The place is beautiful
The staff was friendly and we loved the area and place . My family had a real good time . We ordered our food and it was great 👍 however it took 40 minutes to get out food out to us. All three of us was glad it was still hot and good . The meatball sub didn't have a lot cheese on it either and one meat ball on it. That's not a way of making a meatball sub .

The table cloth was covered in hair of all colors and lengths. The food tasted as if it had been heated in a microwave. Picked up my ice tea and there was a black hair under the glass. Sorry to say that this was my last trip there for Sunday dinner. I had a wedding reception there 5 years ago and could not have asked for better food or service. So disappointed in how everything has changed. The waitress cleared another table and spilled liquid all the way thru the dining room and did not even bother to clean it up. So disappointed in the food, cleanliness and staff. Tried to call and speak with the manager and was hung up on after holding for 10 minutes.

A real disappointment. Dirty dishes removed from nearby table but table not cleaned. Requested our dirty dishes be removed. Condiments served in plastic containers, fast food? Expensive for the quality. Has discontinued their breakfast that had an great reputation. It has been replaced by packaged sweets, bowl of whole fruits, yogurt and cold cereal. Again. Dirty dishes remain. No wine available. Told one owner bought out the other and all licenses must be requested. Asked for a river view. As long as we looked straight out our window, we saw the river, not the roof of the building attached. Ignored by some staff. Overall poor service. Went into Fayetteville the following night for a great meal at the station. So sa!

Friendly staff, clean, meal brought out timely with each course. Soup, salad, 3 different breads, a rare "cut with a fork" prime rib, baked potato..all were yummy.
Kudos to the chef! Very reasonable in cost. Under 40.00 for all the above times 2.
Look forward to visiting again.

This was a great experience-we got there at closing and they still served us and even though food was limited (but that means all is fresh) it was superior and the service was beyond expectations. thank you for this experience - the bread/salads and Orange Roughy was great and even the tea was the best
