During a recent visit to Harrisville, WV, I discovered a small town with friendly locals and a charming diner called Carolyn's Sandwich Shop. The food, including a delicious cheeseburger and perfectly cooked fried green tomatoes, was homemade and reasonably priced, and the engaging conversations with the owner and other patrons made the experience memorable.
