The best place I've found for authentic Louisiana catfish. Being from Louisiana also, I am somewhat spoiled, but the Cajun Shack satisfies me with taste, quality, quantity and price. The servers are great also. You never have to wait to get a refill or make a request.

This is one of those rare AND warm, friendly places you come to a few times in your hometown.
The service is great, friendly and the owner , which we have come to know, is a very nice and always goes out of his way to come over and take the time to see how we are and how glad he is to see us each time we. Visit.
The food portions are great and every item I have ordered is always well worth the price.
Please do yourself a favor and just try the food and service.
I hate it when I get a craving and they are closed.

Da Cajun Shak is so good and the portions are huge! But one thing that I really noticed about this place was the customer service. It is great. The owner and staff make you feel right at home. They seat you fast, pay attention to what you order and even refill your drinks or leave a pitcher of tea on the table if you drink fast! LOL!
Prices are very good too. You get way more than you pay for here!

Horrible experience waitress were extremely rude. we had a party of over 10 and owner would not allow us to sit together. Owner had a panic attack when we attempted to sit together. Waitress was the worst waitress I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. She told me to shut my mouth. Thanks for the awesome experience - will never be back...
