I like their food dining in but take out ~ don't order anything they recommend. I take out on Sunday and made a mistake of getting a special which was similar to the Castro. There was supposed to be meat, eggs and black beans. Never found much meat but maybe one bite of meat and a can of black beans. Stick to the menu. * Unfortunately I have experienced many nice restaurant's take out dinners are like fast-food dives- since you leave the premises and are gone and can't complain you get scraps.

1/13/14 - Great meal tonight! I had the Beef Brisket - it was really moist and delicious, and a large serving size. My only complaint was it was a bit spicy/hot for me, but for anyone looking for some fire, the dressing on the brisket is for YOU!
I would make only 2 suggestions to the owners: when customers come for dinner and order a salad and an entree and wine, it would be appropriate to serve a few small dinner rolls as well, with their salad and wine. And second, please get some wine glasses! Don't serve wine in a juice glass - it really decreases the enjoyment of the wine. Inexpensive wine glasses would be fine, and they can be had for almost nothing. I will bring my own next time, until I know you have some. :) A nice place with really nice staff and very pleasant decor. Can't wait to try the breakfast menu!
