Top Wok, is convenient we live at the beach and the food is always what we order and hot n fresh.all year round it is fast. The drivers always get here within 15 mins. We will continue to use there service. I wish they had teriyaki wings instead of fried and bone in spareribs I would order them every time.

The staff at this restaurant were incredibly friendly and accommodating, even when I mentioned that I was deaf. They kindly wrote down their responses for me, which I truly appreciated. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the boneless ribs, dumplings, and roast pork egg foo young. I was thoroughly impressed by the service, quality, and flavors of the dishes.

General Taos was hard. Strange tasting egg roll with lots of oil in the middle. Chicken and broccoli was bland. Feel sick after eating the food. 👎ðŸ¼

ASIAN APPROVED ! My wife is Asian, and she gives this place 5 stars. I would also agree as everything we ordered the last 2 days while we are here on vacation from Northern Virginia, has been very good. Everything is fresh, the oils are fresh, the flavors of the dishes come out. I found the employees very friendly. The funny thing is, out of all the restaurant's we at while here at Carolina Beach, this little unassuming place had the best quality of all. They beat out Michaels Seafood, Fat Pelican, Butts and Such, Hang Ten, etc. That's so funny !! Wife loved the Mei Fun. The Roasted Duck (crispy) was also very good.
I see the bad reviews here, and they are petty. And untrue. Staff is friendly and fast, they DO SPEAK ENGLISH, and the food is very tasty. I think people just like to b-tch to hear themselves b-tch.

Terrible customer service. I ordered $ 34.30 meal and tipped $ 6.00 for delivery. They got one entree wrong I had ordered. Extra spicy and they put no spice at all. Called Back and they wanted to bring extra oil to put on it. He had eaten most of it. Told them China king was down the road and they said that's fine. Do not go here.they do not care about what they send out. And unfortunately this is nit the first time

Ordered several times always exactly what I expected. Good quick food. Re communication with staff never been a issue.
Allergic reactions are frightening. Re previous post but really poor decision to choose this restaurant on parents part. It is a very busy restaurant most likely owned by someone with a limited relationship with English. Personal responsibility is dying commodity.

This is the first night I have ever ordered from this restaurant, and the food is great. The Kung po chicken is spicy just the way I like it and the steamed dumplings are awesome! The only difficultly is speaking to them on the phone. The guy seemed a little distracted. But other than that, it's great!

It's not a 5 star meal but for a take out Chinese restaurant it is pretty damn good. I have lived here most my life and have never had a bad or cold meal or even had an order screwed up. The people are always friendly. If you have a special request, as the lady with the child with the peanut allergy, then it's probably not a good idea to order from a place where English is the 2nd language. Also as another person commented 90% of restaurants can not make the guarantee that your food has not had any contact with whatever you may be allergic to, If you're in Carolina Beach and want Chinese or are just too lazy to cook and want a quick hot meal than I highly suggest Top Wak.

I have eaten at Top Wok for years and love all the food. Most dish can be altered for your dietary needs.
I do take issue with the woman complaining about her son's peanut allergy. I have worked in restaurants over a decade now and one thing all cooks hate is people with sensitive allergies wanting food prepared a special way. We CANNOT EVER guarantee your food was not near nuts or other allergens. Any restaurant that makes such a claim is probably lying because they want your money. When I was growing up responsible parents that cared about their children ALWAYS prepared their kids' foods because it was the only way to guarantee their safety. Does it suck not to be able to eat out? Yes. Do you want a dead child? No.
Next time consider ordering take out from a restaurant that:
a) is least likely to cook with allergens
b) not foreign (no language barrier)
c) specializes in restrictive diets
Don't give the hardworking English as a second language staff at Top Wok a hard time because you felt like gambling with your son's life for some lo mein. Shame on you.

My delivery order was missing an item and when I called, the man on the phone was argumentative and rude. Additionally, the food was bland. I wouldn't order from here again.

The food is great....I'm a vegetarian and the tofu they make is delicious...the only problem is the $15 min on deliveries... they also have some good -ss general tao's sauce ( i of course i get the tofu but...) i rated the atmosphere at a 5 but its take out...what do you expect

Be careful ordering here. I ask to have no peanutt sauce in my order and the lady taking my order said "ok". My son has a peanut allergy and when he ate his meal he had an allergic reaction. When I spoke to another person he said the lady I spoke to didn't understand what I meant. (In other words she doesn't speak english) I don't know how else to say "NO peanut sauce!". The employees were non-sypathetic to my plee. I'll never eat at Top Wok again!!!
