When Joe Rogers, Sr. bought a house from Tom Forkner in Avondale Estates, GA in 1949, neither one knew where that relationship would take them. In 1955, the two opened a small restaurant with the goal of serving quality food to their neighbors. Through the years, they added a restaurant here and a restaurant there, and now 50 years later that small chain of restaurants has multiplied into today’s Waffle House system of more than 1,500 restaurants in 25 states. The Waffle House Experience means different things to different people. It could be a bowl of Bert’s Chili, a glass of Alice’s Iced Tea or just the friendly face behind the counter.

I visit this Waffle House at least once a month because the food is consistently perfect, and the staff is exceptional. Today, a server's kindness towards an elderly gentleman made my day, and with delicious dishes like the All Star Special and the best chicken sandwich I've ever had, this diner stands out as a must-visit for anyone craving comfort food.

The food was good.There was only one waitress and one cook.They both did fantastic.I do believe they should have more staff and be recognized for their hard work

i work at the wal-mart across from the waffle house at monkey junction.there is a young man named Leon who has to be the best cook I have the pleasure of meeting. His food is always served hot and tasty.he is sure to ask is the food good, to let him know of any concerns. the Waffle House needs more cooks like him. Hats off to Leon of the monkey junction waffle house.

What can we say - it's a Waffle House. Love the pecan waffles, great value, this one didn't have too much smoke in the air. No credit cards.
