I had one of the most incredible burgers recently, reminiscent of a Habit burger but even better. The flavors were so perfect that I almost forgot about the cash-only policy, which felt a bit outdated in 2023. After years away, I was thrilled to rediscover this Winnipeg institution, where the fresh fries and that special chili sauce made the experience unforgettable.

Excellent Burgers, delicious and messy as Hell!!! (Don't take your lady here for a first date, unless she has a sense of humour.) Their fries are also outstanding, made from fresh potatoes, none of this flash-frozen crap.
Winnipeg is a city which is spoiled by the high calibre of our restaurants - you can get pretty much any cuisine in the world, somewhere in this city. The wide selection of small, family-owned burger joints makes for brisk competition, and any place that fails to consistently please their customers is swiftly out of business. Bearing this in mind, VJs has been here for DECADES - and yes, they are THAT good!!!
