There are plenty of dining options in Door County, ranging from laid-back to upscale, offering a variety of dishes like steaks and seafood. Let me tell you about the Institute Saloon - the food is not just good, it's fantastic, and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. I've been coming to Door County for decades and only recently discovered this gem. The menu is extensive, offering everything from burgers to clam strips, all of which are delicious and reasonably priced. It's a cozy, unpretentious spot with friendly service and great food - definitely worth a visit!

Well we got pan fried walleye because the last time I got deep fried perch and it was burnt. So now it took 1 hour to get the pan fried walleye to go and it is so black I can't even eat it! How can they serve this BLACK BURNT FOOD! I will not be getting it again!
