Kincaid's Country Inn Supper Club is four miles north of Rice Lake, on Highway 53. Built in 1933, this site is one of the classic restaurants serving Rice Lake and Barron County for generations.

I used to frequent this establishment regularly, but it has been some time since my last visit. Initially hesitant due to mixed reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall experience. The salad bar was a standout feature, offering a fresh selection that included delicious soups and a noteworthy hot bacon dressing. The main courses, such as the prime rib and fried chicken livers, exceeded expectations in taste and quality. The attentive service, including a friendly bartender who crafted a custom drink, added to the enjoyable dining experience. The owners' efforts to maintain and improve upon the restaurant's legacy were evident, creating a welcoming Northwoods atmosphere that left me eager to return.
