Tried Edgar Family Restaurant again after too many disappointments kept me away. Heard it was under new management. I am glad I did. Young server who was very attentive. Party of 10 and everyone had something different and all were pleased. So impressed I went back the next day for take out fish fry. I am very particular and judgemental about fish fry. Two piece fish was absolutely delicious. Thick meaty fillets. Crispy hash browns. Buttered rye bread. Creamy coleslaw. Yummy old fashioned meal.
I agree that it takes a long time to get someone to answer phone, but to me that's a sign they're busy. That's a good thing!
Definitely will be back and I promise to tell friends and family.

Picked up their Thursday Dinner special Ribs to go, awesome meal. Ribs were falling off the bone, very meaty and done to perfection. Sides of Chicken dumpling soup and mashed potatoes/gravy made it even better.

I have been there a few times now, the chicken and everything else I have tried has been great! The service was always great and that says a lot because I'm not always the best customer. I have never had a bad experience when dining here and will be back!

Poor service hear screaming in kitchen
