I dined at Moys in December 2023 and had a fantastic experience with their service. The staff promptly seated me and were incredibly polite throughout my meal. When I was ready to order, they were attentive and efficient. The Chinese food I enjoyed was truly exceptional, and the overall dining experience left me highly satisfied.

Moy's used to be our favorite Chinese restaurant. The last year its awful. Nothing is cooked the same and staff so unfriendly. So sad after twenty plus years of great food and service. I've heard new owners

Went for lunch - there was no "lunch" menu - only dinner with dinner prices. The food quality has definitely gone down under new ownership! Gen Tso Chicken tasted like it was reheated from day prior. Egg rolls were horrible! We will not return and we miss the great food they USED to serve! Spent $50 for an order of egg rolls, order of kung pao chicken and one order of GenTso chicken - What a waste of money!

Terrible new owners...unfriendly...food is not like when Mr Moy had the place...egg rolls were terrible. This old establishment is now ruined...higher prices and lousy service. Also no lunch special any longer. Mr Moy ran a great place...wish he would come back...

We've never had a bad meal at Moy's. In fact, we've never had anything but excellent food...and their egg rolls are the best we've ever had.
We were surprised when ownership changed...the food remains as delicious as ever.
We always have the dinners...for 2, 3. 4 etc. and they are delicious.
Try their shrimp and lobster sauce...2nd to none...in the world.
I compare all Chinese restaurants to Moys and none come close.

This is a scathing review of the current operation of Moy's restaurant and current new owners. It shows how easily a restaurant's reputation can be destroyed. On Saturday. May 9th, I ordered a large takeout meal for the dinner hour. I live a 45-minute drive away from the restaurant. When I arrived, the person handling the deliveries could not find my order. Said it was not here and there was nothing he could do about it. He then ignored me and went on to the next customer awaiting their pickup. I then went to the table were the takeout orders were piling up and my order was there in plain sight with all the items I ordered.
Upon returning home, I found I was shorted one container of rice for my chicken cashew orders. First, we tried out the egg rolls. They only have beef egg rolls, whereas the previous owners made delicious pork eggrolls. The beef eggrolls were so spicy that they burned your tongue and we could not get past the first bite. Then on to the Chicken cashew. It turned out very dry with almost no sauce and was tasteless. We ended throwing it in the garbage, as well as the eggrolls. The third item I purchased was the Chicken Chow Mein. This turned out OK, but there no egg noodles with it. Instead, there was a container filled with angel hair pasta which had clumps of brown burnt pasta mixed it and smelled as well as tasted burnt. So that also ended up in the garbage.
Moy's has been our favorite Chinese restaurant for the past 20 years and my wife and I have eaten there over 200 times without ever having a complaint about the quality of the food or service. It truly had a 5-star rating, I cannot even rate the current new owners or their operation one star for service or food. (especially the way I was treated by the employee who ignored me after he could not fine my package)
So that you know where I am coming from, I am a restaurant owner of two restaurants, which are located North of Milwaukee, nowhere near Elkhorn. I would never allow something like this to happen to one of my customers. Because of the virus situation my restaurants are also restricted only take outs. If you take time to look over the other reviews, there are many unsatisfied customers. Restaurants that operate like this will not remain in business very long
