We dine every night, 7 days a week, at Manitowoc Perkins. The assistant manager, Victoria is absolutely awesome. She frequently circulates around the dining room and is prompt at checking people out. We enjoy dining at Perkins when she is in charge. She is friendly and professional.
HOWEVER, if the general manager, Berdell Pawelski is working LEAVE! On Wednesday, March 13, 2024 he was working with a waitress trainee. He was more concerned about having her address us as "folks" instead of "guys." We told him it did not matter to us. He kept harassing her and us. To top it all off, he screwed up my order. The waitress wrote it correctly. I ordered Grilled Fish and Shrimp. He told the cook our order all wrong. She knew it was wrong because.we dine there every night. The waitress bought my husband's order with my shrimp on his plate. She gave me a totally empty plate. I had to tell her I was suppose to get fish and rice with the shrimp. I heard him tell the cook after the waitress told him my fish was missing that he screwed up. He never bothered to apologize in a timely matter. Than when the bill arrived he had that wrong too. He billed my husband an additional $3.99 for grilled shrimp and left my entree off entirely. The service was so bad we did not bother to correct him. In 43 years of restaurants this was the WORST SERVICE EVER. We have let it be known to all the waitress and Victoria that if Pawelski is working alone with one waitress or taking orders we will leave immediately. We have been coming to this Perkins for 7 years.
It is time to replace him with Victoria who truly cares about Perkins and the people who work there and dine there. Pawelski needs to be replaced. He has a bad attitude toward the customers and the staff.
