We went into this restaurant expecting to have dinner and to see the fireworks for the 4th of July. I walked in with my daughter and my dad while my husband was parking the car. I asked the front desk, two staff a young woman and a man to give us a table where we can best view the fireworks. They said yes and led us to our table. We ordered our dinner then had my husband request from the acting manager for a table closer to thr balcony rdge so we can have a better view but he came back and said they said no and that in our vantage point we can possibly see it on top of the trees. When we were almost done with our meal we told the waitress we were staying for furrworks and asked her what time will it start. She gave us an incredulous look and told us that its a well known fact that you can not see fireworks from their restaurant. She exclaimed that you can only see it in the waterparks and downtown Wisconsin Dells. We expressed our surprise to her since I specifically asked for a table with the best view of the fireworks. She argued with us and did not believe us. We explained it to her again but she kept on arguing against us and told us we should have known that. We told her we were from out of town and this is deceitful of them to falsely lead us to believe that we got a table with a view of the fireworks. We also told her this is the second time we were decieved today and one was at Mt Olympus where we were told we could swim and watch the fireworks on two phonecalls then when we got there they changed it to only watching fireworks but not swim. The waitress instead of showing some empathy exclaimedin a condescending tone,"Did you buy cheap tickets then?!" Implying in her tone that we were cheap. Why would she think that? We were dressed nice. We are educated people conversing peacefully in our table. Is it because we were not White?! We told her how she made us feel and how deceitful theyare and she continued to argue against us. We demanded an apology from her, the manager and the front desk staff. She said she'll do that and walked away. Then came the manager accusing us for being loud and accusing us of disturbance and at the same time defending the waitress and will not listen to us. Then she told us to leave since we continued to argue with her. Then the cook/bouncer followed us to the patking lot and got our car plates then threatened us that he will call the police since we didnt pay our tab. He told me in a low voice,"You don't belong in this town." My husband argued back at him that it diesnt make sense that they kick us out then accuse us of running away from the tab. My husband paid the tab then I asked who was the manager. The cook/bouncer guy said his name was Adam but he was not present. So I asked what their names are and the cashier boy said they could not divulge ut. I asked why and he eould not explain why. We got out of there very upset and I was crying.
