This fish fry spot is our absolute favorite. The breading is truly exceptional, unlike anything we've tasted elsewhere. The desserts are truly outstanding too. The owners and staff are incredibly welcoming and always make us feel at home. You won't be disappointed!

Owner was completely rude. Charged me extra for using a credit card. Will not be back! Disappointing as it was my first time there. Customer Service skills are definitely needed.

Wanted a half-way point to meet friends; we all had to drive at least 2 hrs. each way. We all looked at the link and it looked great; historic and comfortable. Imagine our surprise to enter and see a room of brown tables and chairs you'd be more likely to find in a Subway. No table service. Had to go up to counter and order. We all ordered meals that offered a sandwich, a soup/coleslaw and a slice of pie. The order taker said that my pie would be pumpkin, although there were 5 other pies of different varieties uncut. I did not want pumpkin and asked why I could not have a different one. "We only cut one pie at a time" We were served our meal at our table in a box. No placemat. Did find the place that their website shows. It was behind the center wall. ONE table with the historic mantle and sideboard but out of the photo was the huge commercial cooler. Our box lunch cost us each $16.00. The food was good but not at all what we had expected for ambience. Would I recommend the food yes, the place NO!!
