The Clam Box offers a variety of seafood dishes, including a popular fisherman platter that can be customized to suit your preferences. The restaurant has been a roadside favorite for many years, known for its great seafood and wide selection of ice cream flavors. The casual atmosphere and friendly service make it a pleasant dining experience for those looking for fresh, tasty seafood options.

Since the current owners have been there the quality is fantastic. Everything is fresh and tastes great. The service is friendly. I have tried fish and chips several times. Perfect. Scallops baked and fried. Wonderful. Lobster roll. Wow. Clam strips. Sweet and fresh. Never left hungry always satisfied. I have heard others say it’s not good but that is because they did not want to pay. The price is very fair and comparable to others. If you like sea food this is the place to go.

We stopped by last night.
BIG MISTAKE!!!
My husband ordered fried whole belly clams.
It cost $27.99 for 8 whole belly clams if that - in addition to xtra $1.00 to substitute onion rings instead of mashed potatoes. There was a small condiment size clear container with about 4 bites cole slaw.
Soda was $2.55 & very gassy.
So for $28.99 for clams & onion rings this is what he got.
YOU BE THE JUDGE .. LOOK AT PHOTO.
ITS NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL.
Corn flake type breading bland on onion rings, terrible heartburn later!
I had baked haddock (which in center was cold) mashed sweet potatoe (they were ok had couple black potatoe eyes in the mash) sm container cole slaw.
All in all .. THE MOST EXPENSIVE & THE WORST SEAFOOD PLACE WE'VE BEEN TO IN AREA RECENTLY!
WONT BE GOING BACK ANYTIME SOON!
-0- â zero stars but had to choose at least 1 star to post.

My wife and I went to eat at The Clam Box in Brookfield on 8/18/14. I was hoping to have a haddock meal, but was informed that they were out of it. Bummer. Since I was hungry, I chose alligator bites. They were just OK. My wife had a mediocre lobster roll.
Usually The Clam Box has good food, that's why we went there. The location in Brookfield is one to be avoided. That doesn't mean that other Clam Box locations are as bad.
Considering that our experience wasn't very good, we won't go back. Furthermore, this branch is NOT recommended.

We use to brag about the best seafood was in Brookfield. We tried it in March when we got back from a trip and scallops were terrible, spoiled, the Chowder - one bowl was dark and full or claims and the other pale and ? if there were any clams. there response, the first wone had been in the pot all day....So we tried it one more time last week...can we give no stars. I could weep, the scallops again we awful and the portions were skimpy.
I know they bought Snows in Ware....please don't ruin that too!!
Avoid at any risk...Going to try Jamie's.

Well the Clambox here is Worcester is a disappoinment. They didn't take the order properly, then the girl was gonna argue about it.I got fish and chips that was greasy and I got about 20 french fries, and everyone else got a ton. I give them about a 4 at best currently.
