The market offers a wide variety of fresh seafood, which is always a delight to indulge in. However, the staff's demeanor can be a bit off-putting, with little to no friendliness in their service. Despite this, I keep coming back for the quality of the seafood, especially the chowder and lobster salad roll - truly delicious!

The best & freshest around. Weather you want to dine in, take out or buy and cook yourself, this is the place to come to. The fish market is fantastically stocked with the best fish of the day and always something to tempt your taste buds. They'll even cook your lobsters for you to take home. Perfectly packed up for an easy ride to your home! Great prices, great people and have it your way too.

this place has gone downhill a lot since last fall. ordered two hungary man haddock plates.....then found out the price on the wall was higher in the new menu......ok, food came over 30 minutes later......my haddock was kinda over cooked, and when i got to the second piece of haddock underneath, it was terriblt over cooked.tried to force thru it but finally gave up. the second plates was the same but the underneart piece of haddock was very over cooked.
it was obvious that someone was hiding this so we would not see it rright away.
i ate here 5 times last year.....all was great......maybe a French fry was slightly undercooked. but we all loved it.
we are seriously thinking of finding another place to get our haddock fix for the rest of the year.
very disappointed.

Classic New England restaurant. They have the best prices for fish and Lobster both restaurant and fishmarket. It is kind of like a shack but that's what makes it great. They focus on the food more than the look. Don't waste your money on some fancy place that serves you sub par food.

We just came from S&S Lobster and spent $40.00 on two dinners. I would not have a problem with that if the food actually was cooked properly and the service was slightly acceptable. The lobster pie was BURNT, the chicken tenders were overcooked and rubbery. The clam chowder was good. The "waitress" yelled at the top of her lungs the number of every order she brought out. This was not only disturbing, but nerve racking. The staff looked dirty and the tables hadn't been cleaned all day from what I can tell. Serious thumbs way down on this one.

Been going there for quite a few years now no complaints staff is great and the price is great. Not looking for a new building if it were a new building your prices would be higher so the people that are complaining about old and dry Abby then go someplace else. This is old New England.
