Simply the best

We were so anxious to have a new restaurant so close to our home in Lake Las Vegas. Unfortunately, we were disappointed on this 1st visit. We showed up at 5pm sharp with reservations. The restaurant was about half-full. When we arrived, the hostess asked us to take a seat in the waiting area since they were out of menus. Out of menus? We didn't have to wait long, about 5 minutes. My wife had requested a booth online when she made the reservation. We seated at a table instead. My wife asked if her previous request for a booth could be honored. Sh did although I don't think anyone had any info about us requesting a booth. My wife had also (reluctantly) indicated on our reservation that we would be celebrating her birthday. There was no admission. It was a featured option when we made a reservation. After we were seated, our server was very attentive and very polite. We ordered our food and didn't have to wait long at all. The food quality was substandard, and the prices seemed to be unjustifiably high. I ordered a New York Strip which was as thin as a flank steak, and had more fat than a ribeye. My wife ordered Coconut shrimp, and it was overly breaded, with both dipping sauces tasting basically identical. We both ordered. wedge salads. I asked for my dressing on the side, and it arrived with dressing on it. My wife's salad came with dressing on it but also with dressing on the side. During our meal we were never offered a refill on our soft drinks until at the very end of our meal - when our waiter was clearing our table. We noticed that the staff wasn't quite operating in harmony. We understand it's only their 2nd week, and we wish them well. More intensive training, stepping up the food quality, and concentrating on a couple of "signature" entries might be just what the doctor ordered.

A good friend of mine knew Chris well. I was very pleased with the interior of this amazing building! Our waitress was sweet and full of information! The food was over the top!! We will only go here from now on for a great steak, and they know how to cook it! I even won a bottle of wine at the end of our meal! Very high praise!!
