I highly recommend visiting this hotel and restaurant, as it was personally suggested by my son's wrestling coach at the JR college. Despite their early closing time at 8 pm, we called at 7:15 and they were able to accommodate our party of 7 with a table that was ready upon our arrival. The food was exceptional, with perfectly cooked ribeyes, filet, fried shrimp, grilled chicken, and chicken strips - a true delight for steak lovers. Overall, this place is a must-visit for those craving a delicious steak or fresh burger in town, though be aware that drink prices are a bit on the higher side.

I have gone several times. When family comes to visit they insist on going to the Lamplighter. Best food best Bloody Mary's Steaks are amazing. Service has always been great. Love the atmosphere.. Thank you..to all

The food at The Lamplighter Inn is absolutely fabulous! Dishes include steak that can actually be cut with a butter knife and teriyaki chicken that still makes my mouth water. The soups are delicious and the house vinaigrette dressing is simply divine. I still recall with fond memories the exceptional creme brulee that I enjoyed, as well as the fantastic cheesecake my husband shared with me. Service is a bit slow, but friendly and professional. The pleasant atmosphere combined with the wonderful food, large portions, and friendly service made this a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend that anyone visiting Powell enjoy dinner at The Lamplighter.
