After a year, Miz Dee's barbecue continues to impress with their flavorful offerings. The addition of two extremely hot BBQ sauces, made with ghost peppers, provides a spicy kick for adventurous diners. However, be prepared for a wait of at least 45 minutes to an hour if ordering in person; consider calling ahead for a quicker experience.

We have been eating at Miss Deez for over 25 yrs, have traveled all over the U.S., including Missouri, Tennesee, and Alabamba, and tried many other BBQ joints and honestly, none can even come close to Miss Deez. We have not lived in Yakima for 20 years but whenever we come back for a visit, we always make a point to stop in see our good friend Miss Dee, who treats us like a special guest each time. All the BBQ joints we have been in have tender meat, but only Miss Dee smokes her meat over night with apple or cherry wood. Love you Miss Dee! Mark and Cathy

Miz Dee's catered a company event over the past weekend and frankly I've had better BBQ pulled pork or chicken from the local grocery store deli. They also served potato salad which I could swear was reeser's brand from the grocery store as well as frozen store bought cheesecake as a dessert.
My plate of pulled pork was nothing but gristle and fat, potato salad was cold but nondescript, cheesecake was average. My daughter's plate of BBQ chicken was served cold and tasted of straight smoke with a fruit salad (roughly chopped fresh fruits mixed together, nothing special).
The star was the sweet rolls they bought from a local bakery and I filled up on them, as I found the rest of the food inedible!

I didn't have the opportunity to eat, but the music was amazing, on the street corner by the Speakeasy... Swing low, sweet chariot...it was the Mister's birthday. What a joyous few minutes...times 2

THERE IS NO PLACE LIKE MIZ DEE BARBEQUE. THE FOOD IS GREAT AND THE PEOPLE ARE AWESOME!! WE WILL DRIVE 4 HOURS TO JUST COME SEE HER & HAVE SOME GREAT FOOD.
